FAQ

The color option I am after is not available. Can you do other colors?

Yes we can! If you are after one of our products in a color that is not shown as an option, then please send us a message on Facebook or an email at info@wrapmode.com and we will do the best we can to provide the color you want.

Please note that if the color is not in stock it will take time to order it from the supplier.

Do you use quality vinyl and how long does it last?

Yes. We use the leading brands of vehicle wrapping vinyl to ensure you get the best quality product. Quality vinyl also means you get high quality bubble free technology* which makes it easy to install and if you make a mistake, can be removed and re positioned.

*NOTE: For RED or YELLOW tint overlays we use Oracal 8300 which is designed for window tint however does not feature bubble free technology. This can be applied either wet or dry.

Most vinyls have a 3-5 year rating however this depends on a number of factors including where you live, what elements the vinyl is exposed to and how often the vinyl is cleaned and with what you use to clean it.

We recommend cleaning regularly but avoiding harsh chemical cleaners and keeping it out of the sun where possible.

Vinyl should be removed once it starts to deteriorate to avoid removal issues or damage to surfaces

Why don't you have any products on your site for my car?

To make the products that we sell we require access to the specific car to ensure the final product is a perfect fit.

We are constantly working on new products but if you would like us to make a product specific to your car then please send us an email and we will try to get access to a car to create the product you require.

If you are happy to participate/help in the development of a product for your car you can contact us to work something out.

Will the vinyl ruin the paint once it is removed?

The vinyl is designed to be applied and easily removed on original OEM automotive paint however we cannot guarantee that the paint will not be damaged upon removal especially on aftermarket paint or repairs.

We recommend applying heat to the vinyl before removal to soften the adhesive. It is also recommended to remove the vinyl when it starts to deteriorate.

How dark do the taillights appear at night with the light tint?

The amount of light let through is measured in Visible Light Transmission (VLT).

Light Smoke = 45% VLT

Medium Smoke = 24% VLT

Dark Smoke = 12% VLT

Even the darkest tint still emits a decent amount of light at night however the difference in look during the day is very noticeable

We suggest that if you are worried about your lights being too dark that you choose the light or medium smoke option as that gives the best balance of look versus loss of light output.

Please note that in some locations, it is illegal to have any tint on vehicle lights so check with you local authorities on what is allowed.
